The Glass Optimizer is an order oriented optimization package featuring
inventory control and pattern generation. Inventory information is displayed in
table form and is easily entered and changed. The number of sizes of stock is
limited only by the amount of memory on the host computer.
Orders contain a customer name, group, row number, and column number, as
well as the width, height, stock type, and quantity of pieces to be cut. Order
information is easily changed with a few keystrokes.
When optimization is selected from the main menu the optimizer gathers
together all of the orders to optimize, performs the optimization, and prints
the cut sheets on the printer. Inventory may be updated automatically if
desired. Patterns may be printed to scale in graphics or in a less accurate
(but quicker printing) character mode. Color printing of patterns is also
supported for compatible printers.
Reports include order printing, inventory printing, and a comprehensive
pattern cross reference. Glass tags show all invoice information and contain a
custom line for company identification. Tags may be printed in color if
desired.
